I made my own versions of EPUBs (I prefer them over PDFs) for web/light novels I enjoy because I prefer editing as I read. Rather than just copying/pasting the translations and compiling them into a file and leaving it at that (or using automatic scripts), I edit/clean and format them to create higher quality EPUBs. It’s a small way of giving back to the fantastic translation community that puts in much love and effort. I’m especially thankful to the translators who consent to and/or are okay with people making EPUB/PDFs of their works.

The translators/groups are of course free and encouraged to directly host the EPUBs if they like them or are of a mind to. I often make tweaks here and there with the files so they will be updated/changed from time to time. Also, feel free to point out anything that I’ve missed (italics, spelling, grammar, updated translation, etc.) and I’ll try to fix them when I have the time.

I enjoy making these files when I have the time or when I’m not too lazy. I really like tinkering with tables for gaming-based novels. It’s pretty interesting trying to get them to look like their manga counterparts or what you would imagine them to be like.
