Synopsis: There has been much conflict between the races of the ‘Humas’, the ‘Gabranth’,and the ‘Evila’. To combat the ‘Evila’ race’s Demon Lord, the Humas kingdom summons five high school students from 21st century Japan who have the power of Heroes. However, only four out of five of those students had the status title of ‘Hero’.
Okamura Hiiro was summoned by accident since he sat near the other four students in class. Unlike them, he did not have the title of a ‘Hero’ but instead he had the title of ‘Word Master’ and ‘Innocent Bystander’. Seeing through the ‘Humas’ kingdom’s deceit and insanity, Hiiro decides that he has no wish to partake in their selfish war. Leaving the castle, Hiiro decides to join the Adventurer’s Guild and does whatever he feels like. Who knows? Maybe there is some merit to being a ‘Word Master’ and an ‘Innocent Bystander’.

Really glad you liked it. I’m a fan of LMS too, awesome series. I think I read somewhere that one of the groups that worked on it preferred to just keep it on their site so probably won’t be happening. Though volumes 14-17 should be available for download on Japtem.
Was going to start reading Zhan Long and might be interested if Gravity is okay with it. We’ll see.

I tried asking on his site before but there was no response. It does say on there that it was okay to make pdfs so I assume it would be okay for epubs. I’ll add them with the next update, but I’ll take them off if he asks me to.

Hello. I was wondering if you know any good epub readers or other programs that i can use to read the epub files that you made? i tried the icecream ebook reader after I googled it, but there are sections of the story that are just gone. Idk if thats normal or if it’s because of the reader. If you know of anything the any help is appreciated. Also wondering if there is any i can use on ios to read this. Thank you for the work on the files.

The E-reader I use (I actually use the epub editor Sigil a lot more to read) is called calibre. It’s not a light reader, but great if you have a lot of E-books to manage and wanna convert between epub/mobi/pdf formats (though not perfectly). Works with Macs too. Never heard of Icecream so not sure what the problem is…

The icecream one is one of the first ebook readers i found when I used google to look for an ebook reader. Also, due to the whole volume being put into an epub file, I was able to read through with none of the text missing. Though when I try to read the epub for what has been translated for the second arc it doesn’t show anything. Idk what the problem is with that. Thank you for the help.

You know, after reading 93 chapters in a day, I feel like I’m starting to like it…who am I kidding, I LOVE ADVENTURE!!!

Hi. Really appreciate the epubs :).
Also, would just like to comment on some things, as I read them on a cell-phone with really high DPI, the headings you use doesn’t scale (so it’s actually smaller than the text, and almost unreadable). The same goes for the content in all of the tables (though, I guess those are probably a bit harder to deal with). You can see a sample of how both looks here: http://imgur.com/a/XPQ9a.
Asside from that, mostly everything works perfectly. Not sure if it’s easy to fix these things, or if it’s even possible at all, but if you did manage to figure it out, I’d be most appreciative :).

I believe I actually managed to fix it (at least it works on my phone now :)). The solution was quite simple, I just changed any sizes in your css file from using `px` to using `rem` instead. Thus, they now scale with the content.

Thanks for pointing it out. Looked into the rem unit and played around with it for a little bit. Pretty interesting how people are split between rem and px. I made it so that it would prioritize rem over px when supported. But since it’s a relative unit or for whatever reason things didn’t look quite the same, so I think I’ll stick with px for now. The differences weren’t too major really, some of the border sizes of the tables were off.

That’s too bad, cause it makes tables and headers basically unreadable on my cellphone :(.
The headings are smaller than the normal text xD (and you can how tiny the table-text is). The print-screens doesn’t really show this, cause it’s scaled up, but if you take the print-screen and view it on your phone (so it takes up one screen, not zoomed in), you’d get a good idea… Remember, it’s a phone, not a tablet.

I might fiddle around with at least the headers then. I do everything on my computer so the .epubs aren’t really catered for mobile viewing, but we’ll see when I have time.

I found that the second arc epub file doesn’t contain at least chapter 89 and 90 (only read it so far).

To be more precisely, chapter 91 was put before chapter 90. This is a little disturbing, but it’s okay as long as you can read it all, I guess. Nevertheless, thanks for the files.

Your epubs are just awesome, I mean tables and all look really good and so on… btw. I read them on a tolino vision 2 and everything works well… and could you make epubs for ARK maybe? I mean on arkmachinetranslations.com we have already 21 volumes… so pleeeeeeease!!!!!

although its only a small mistake but in chapter 8 there was sometimes boy and girl mixed up to say the same kid turn from girl to boy to girl or i just get it wrong but it seem so for me

Mistakes from the translators, I bet. The one who made the EPUBs have no obligation to fix them. And besides, I think it’s too much trouble for the person.
